Local Magistrates visit our class

We had to put crimes in order of seriousness.

Cross Country

Well done to our brilliant Yr 6 team who came second in the competition out of twelve competing schools. A special well done to HB who won a medal place in his race.

Family Group Reading

One of our responsibilities in Y6 is to lead Family Groups. Today we were sharing books with younger children and reading a story to the whole group.

Macbeth - the battle scene

Class 6 put their homemade swords to good use today. We gathered ideas for our descriptive writing by looking at pictures of a battle, describing sights, sounds and smells and then acting out the battle. The Scottish were victorious against the Norwegians and Macbeth was duly rewarded with the title Thane of Cawdor.
Next come the witches .........
